So I have my fridge freezer and dieselheater roughly at the same disytance from the battery bank. with as soon as I switch it on 0.5 to 1 V difference in reading and resuloting in a 00 error.

I am thinking of upfrading the powerlead by a gauge or 2 or 3 ...but I am not sure if this reading fault is not between the heater and the controller?

Anyone reaplced cabl;es before on these things?

Yes, the leads that come with diesel heaters can be quite long. Probably okay if heater is close to the battery and you can do away with most of the cable but not so good if you need to run 5metres or so. I swapped feed cable for 25amp for diesel heater.
